Description:

The Cultivation Manager (CM) will be responsible for managing all cultivation operations (through Harvest) and cultivation team employees in the cultivation facility pursuant to company directives, state compliance and Beleaf Medical SOPs.  The CM will manage a team of up to 15 employees including team supervisors and leads.  This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Cultivation.  The CM will have to make critical decisions and observations on plant health, facility production plans and employee duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the cultivation center adheres to all state regulatory compliance standards and maintains proper documentation on waste, foliar sprays, sanitation, and compliance training.
• Ensure all cultivation staff are adequately hired, supervised, and trained.
• Schedule major tasks with team supervisor such as propagation, harvests and room reset to meet production schedules.
• Monitor and understand functions, care and maintenance of all major facility equipment including HVAC, CO2, water filters, stock tanks, injection pumps and irrigation layouts.
• Properly delegate tasks to supervisors and ensure teams are being led/supervised correctly and performing tasks that meet or exceed company standards.
• Communicate regularly with team supervisors and leads about expectations of daily workflows throughout the facility.
• Working with the team supervisor to ensure the entire cultivation team maintains a professional working rapport.
• Identify supply needs and place orders within a set budget through purchasing system.
• Develop and manage individual employee improvement plans.

Qualifications and Education:

• Extensive experience overseeing and managing a large-scale cannabis cultivation center.
• 5+ years in a cannabis management position.
• 5+ years of experience of managing a team in a fast-paced work environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in horticulture, plant biology, physiology, biological sciences, or agricultural sciences preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
