Lead Teacher 2-3 year olds Temp To Perm

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children. You will play a crucial role in their development and education.

Duties:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum

- Provide a variety of learning experiences, including hands-on activities, group projects, and individualized instruction

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social-emotional development

- Use effective classroom management techniques to ensure a safe and productive learning environment

- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create an integrated curriculum

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance

- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting

- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to effectively manage behavior and promote positive discipline techniques

- Knowledge of special education strategies and accommodations is a plus

- DCF Certificate Required
