Lead Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate with experience to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling our products, in a retail setting to drive company revenue. Incentives are available based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and identify customer needs
• Understand and explain our handmade Men and Women’s Italian gloves and assist them in finding their color, style, and size
• Monitor inventory to ensure the product is in stock
• Enter and process customer orders including preparation of online orders
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints
• Keep the store neat, and tidy, to ensure the products are properly stored
• Assist with windows and displays
• Answer customer questions and concerns
• Upsell when appropriate; promote current sales, promotions, deals, etc.
• Process purchases, returns, and exchanges
• Process newly received shipments
• Assist with the yearly inventory count
• Prepare online orders and phone orders for shipment
• Be enthusiastic and informative about all products
• Help create a positive environment for customers to shop and buy

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail sales and customer service
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong sales skills to increase sales
• Bilingual English/Italian is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Computer literate; familiarity using POS systems
• Extremely personable, positive, and approachable
• Fantastic customer service skills
• Comfortable standing for long periods
• Ability to lift between 20-50 pounds
• Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Professional demeanor and appearance required
