Phlebotomist Part Time

A high quality, well-established clinic is looking for a Certified Phlebotomist to join their team! This is a great opportunity if you have a passion for patient care and want to advance your career!

 Pay: $17-$19/hr                  

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8a-12p or 1p

Job Type: Contract 4 months; possibility to convert permanently

 Phlebotomist Essential Duties:

Candidate is responsible for accurately obtaining blood samples via venipuncture and capillary collection procedures with minimum customer discomfort.

Phlebotomist Job Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
• Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.
• Follows appropriate guidelines as established by the laboratory for missed draws, recollects, or difficult sticks.
• Communicates with laboratory staff and its customers to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintains and supports a service-oriented relationship with customers.
• Respects and maintains the confidentiality of information relative to customers.

Education/Experience:

• 2 years of Phlebotomy experience required
• Phlebotomy certification required
