Director of Nursing

Daily Responsibilities of a Director of Nursing:

• Plans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the nursing department, as well as its budget, programs, policies and procedures, job descriptions, education, equipment, supplies and work areas, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long-term care facility
• Develops methods for coordination of nursing services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care and coordination with other departments
• Supervises and supports the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards governing the facility and as may be directed by the Administrator

Requirements for Director of Nursing:

• Must be an RN - Associates Degree or above
• Must have current BLS Certificate
• Must have 1- 2 years of experience coming from a skilled nursing facility. Preferable as a DON

Hours for this Position:

• Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 5:00PM shift
