Inventory Control Specialist

Summary:

The Inventory Receiver is responsible for receiving all raw material and packaging materials into the facility and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. Those employed in this position must follow all inventory receiving processes and procedures as listed below, and they must maintain the accuracy of inventory in the raw material and packaging warehouse.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Must always work in a safe and efficient manner

2. Must always follow all GMP and Quality policies.

3. Always keep work area clean and neat. Complete all required sanitation duties within the receiving warehouse.

4. Follow all receiving guidelines for raw materials and packaging materials coming into the facility. They include, but are not limited to:

i. Inspection of truck

ii. Ensure all necessary paperwork is received and validated before taking ownership of materials

iii. Match Bill of Lading (BOL) amount to the amount physically received. If numbers do not match notate on BOL and Purchase Order (PO)

iv. Check for any damages to materials – do not receive if damaged and notate on BOL and PO

v. If there are any cleanliness or QA concerns call QA and the warehouse manager immediately

5. Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment

6. Utilize our ERP system (ROSS) to maintain the accuracy of our raw materials and packaging materials

7. Receive materials into ROSS with lot numbers and correct amounts. Attach LPN to materials when completed.

8. Report any areas or equipment that needs correction or repair to the Warehouse manager as well as the Maintenance manager

9. Must bring a positive attitude (can do and what can I do to help) to their job.

10. Must always bring a positive disposition and attitude when interacting with Asher’s team members.

11. Perform specific tasks as requested and required by Asher’s Management team.

Accountabilities:

· Gatekeeper of inventory accuracy and the condition of the receiving warehouse (RM and Packaging)

· Report problems that cannot be resolved immediately

· Responsible for ensuring quality and accuracy of materials received into the facility.

· Responsible to the Warehouse Manager as well as the Plant leadership team.

· Responsible to internal and external customers on anything receiving warehouse related

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

· The employee must be willing to be frequently required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms for an 8-hour shift. Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds without the aid of material handling equipment.

Qualifications:

· Ability to read write and communicate in English.

· Should have experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

· Ability to use a computer, and utilize the company’s ERP system, ROSS.

· Ability to operate a forklift.

Education and Experience:

· Must have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
