Job Description
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for ensuring operation of plant production machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Follows electrical code, diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Modifies electrical/electronic controls on industrial manufacturing equipment as required.
- Installs power supply wiring for newly installed machines and equipment, such as robots, conveyors and programmable computers.
- Determine sources of problems
- Replaces faulty electrical components
- Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting of PLCs, lasers, and drives.
- Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience in Industrial Machinery/ Equipment Maintenance. Will consider 1 year of manufactuing experience
- Technical understanding of Industrial Electrical Code, OSHA, blueprints and schematics
- Basic understanding of Safety procedures
