Fargo, North Dakota - Full Time

Productive Resources ( ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team at John Deere's facility in Fargo, ND. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will support and may lead a commodity Strategic Sourcing team with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies for enterprise/region/division/unit. Build and develop a supply base for procuring less complex and strategic materials, products, supplies, and services. Responsible for quality, delivery, supplier performance and establishing appropriate material replenishment process. Coordinate and lead efforts to address chronic supplier performance issues and/or validation of suppliers during the early supplier selection process as part of Enterprise Product Delivery Process (PDP). Facilitate the quality planning activities with suppliers.

This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.

Duties:
  • Support ERP functions for the Supply Mgmt team by maintaining material & supplier master file data and related documentation in systems (JDES Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); John Deere Supply Network (JDSN); Product Life Management (Agile)).
  • Support the Supplier Quality functions by scheduling all Design Reviews with Deere and supplier personnel.
  • Assist Supply Mgmt with creating new & maintaining existing policies, procedures and work instructions for reports, activities, and projects.
  • Develop & implement process improvements to support global Supply Mgmt processes including software tools related to Supply Mgmt, John Deere Supplier Network and suppliers.
  • Assist and support Supply Management Specialists with special projects as identified.

Requirements:
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook.
  • Must have good oral and written communication and time management skills.
  • Previous supply management experience preferred- Open to recent graduates with project/employment history.
