Mobile / Shop Reefer Technician

Job Title: Reefer Tech (Mobile/Shop)

Peak Thermo King is currently seeking a reefer technician that is motivated and experienced. Experience with diesel repair is a plus. Customer service and a great work environment are paramount at our dealerships.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment and truck/trailer systems
• Diesel system maintenance – including fuel system cleaning and maintenance
• Drive excellence in customer service through proactive communication and meeting commitments
• Drive to meet and exceed productivity, cleanliness and customer satisfaction standards
• Follow established technical and administrative processes as directed
• Adhere to all mobile technician policies and procedures while completing tasks and efficiently closing repair orders
• Participate in OEM and other training programs as deemed appropriate

Requirements:

• Refrigeration and/or truck/trailer mechanical repair experience
• Possess standard mechanic’s tools – as required to perform assigned duties
• Technical knowledge of major vehicle systems and diesel equipment
• Must be computer proficient
• EPA refrigerant certifications
• Strong organizational ability, focus on the needs of the customer
• Can-do attitude with ability to demonstrate good judgment and decision making skills
• Safety conscious attitude and work practices
• Desire to learn and continuously improve self and surroundings
• Clean driving record and ability to maintain clean drug screens
