Job Description
Westminster University is hiring for an Adjunct position that is open within the Department of Physics for the fall semester of 2024.
One Adjunct faculty is needed to teach PHYS311, Analytical Mechanics, on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10:00AM-11:50AM on campus. The course covers intermediate-level problems in Newtonian and Lagrangian mechanics with the text Classical Mechanics by John R. Taylor.
All Westminster University physics courses incorporate active learning techniques such as Think-Pair-Share questions and in-class group tutorials, which will be provided, as well as already recorded pre-class lectures to supplement the reading.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in related field and discipline specific experience and/or a similar combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in related field. Teaching experience utilizing active learning in a related field.
