Job Description

Join our team in the San Diego area - must live and able to work onsite! We install banners at commercial locations year round and this position will be assisting the General Manager directly.

Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day management of warehouse activities and start-to-finish coordination of banner installation projects and holiday décor projects as assigned. Communicating and developing relationships with clients to keep them happy, jobs looking good and promoting additional work and services without being pushy. Assisting the General Manager in all day-to-day activities:

Installation Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Installation of banners and holiday decor during graveyard shifts.
    • Physically installing, as needed
    • Making sure any City permit guidelines are adhered to and always focusing on the safety of the team and civilians.
    • Required to work a graveyard schedule, overtime, and weekends on commercial sites and municipal streets. *Variable scheduling may be needed during the offseason.
  • Complete job walk-through and compile survey installation information
  • Review job files daily to ensure they are complete and ready for nightly installation. Look ahead to prepare and plan for upcoming jobs to ensure all staffing and equipment are in place.
  • Track man hours for tasks and installs.
  • Drive company vehicles safely and responsibly to and from job sites – box trucks, stake beds or boom lift trucks.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and customer-owned property.
  • Must be willing to learn new computer systems, new reports, and use TEAMS or other methods to provide updates, as needed.
  • Responsible for small or large tasks, as customers need and as assigned by the scheduling department.
  • Work hours as needed for business demands.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the daily review of warehouse operations; review projects, supplies, and equipment are ready for installations.
  • Coordinate resources and speak with customers and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of installation projects.
  • Create and maintain required project documentation; schedule and report to management on the project scope changes, project schedule, and project costs, being able to suggest improvements to all the above.
  • This requires daily meetings with Installation staff or other field reps.
  • Coordinate and source products for specific projects.
  • Place vendor orders for supplies, and equipment maintenance; arrange for pick-up of vendor orders as necessary.
  • Report and escalate to the manager as needed.
  • Taking ownership of trucks and company vehicles to keep them in good order, well-serviced and ready to go at any point.
  • Inventory of banners pre and post-installations to make sure if replacements are needed, they can be confirmed with the client and approved and ready for the next installation.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
