PARTS DELIVERY DRIVER

Mercedes Benz of Lafayette LA is seeking a Parts Delivery Driver to join our team in Lafayette, Louisiana. This is a full-time, hourly position in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry. As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parts to various locations, maintaining an organized and efficient delivery schedule, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. This is an individual contributor role that requires a high level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $14.00 per hour. Pay will be distributed biweekly. In addition, the successful candidate will be eligible for the following benefits:

Responsibilities:

- Load and unload parts and materials onto delivery vehicles
- Deliver parts to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner
- Utilize navigation tools and maintain a delivery schedule
- Verify the accuracy and condition of delivered parts and materials
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with any questions or concerns they may have
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
- Notify the Parts Department of any discrepancies or issues with delivered parts
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating a delivery vehicle
- Keep accurate records of all deliveries, including mileage and fuel consumption
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role preferred
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with navigation tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of auto parts and vehicles is a plus
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Must pass a background check and drug test
