Role Description

This is a Full-Time or Part-Time role for a Pet Groomer our hours o operations are 9am to 5pm Tuesday through Saturday. The Pet Groomer will be responsible for performing grooming services on dogs, including clipping, and providing excellent customer service to pet owners. The groomer will also assist with pet care, cleaning, and other tasks related to the kennel operations. This will be a commission based role for grooming services, with the potential to earn additional income through tips. Ideal candidates are encouraged to have their own grooming equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs according to breed standards or client preference/ requests.
• Safely handle dogs of all temperaments and sizes during the grooming process.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any special requests or concerns.
• Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a professional Pet Groomer.
• Must have some clientele
• Knowledge of various dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Ability to handle dogs with care, patience, and compassion.
• Excellent grooming and scissoring skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation

40%-50% Commission and keep 100% of tips.
