Duties and Responsibilities:
• Organizing the assigned work area efficiently and with attention to detail
• Preparing and selling foods within the recommended time frames to meet guest expectations
• Operating kitchen equipment such as stoves, grills, fryers, baking ovens, and dishwashers
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
• Setting up stations with par stocks of menu items and ensuring all items are prepped in a timely manner
• Alerting the Kitchen Manager to low stocks of items in a timely manner
• Assisting with other duties at the winery as directed by the Management team
Requirements:
• A valid/current or able to obtain Food Handler’s Card
• Availability to work on weekends, evenings, and some holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn sanitation and regulations for workplace safety
• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
