Photographer/Graphic Designer

Touchstone’s Creative Department is hiring for an entry level photography and graphic design position. Touchstone is a large branded merchandise company with a wide variety of clients (such as Progressive, Kroger, Coca-Cola, etc.). Many of these clients have an e-commerce site with us and house their merchandise and apparel inventory at our Fairfield, OH warehouse. All of this merchandise needs shot (mostly flat or on mannequin) and edited to each client’s standards, saved onto our Google Drive and uploaded to their respective Shopify store’s product catalog. Photo editing may include lighting correction, color correction, clipping path and background elimination, retouching, creative photoshopping, etc. Additionally, this position will act as a graphic design support role for our Creative Department, working on ticket requests from original design, virtual mockups, presentation edits, web banners, etc. Being an entry level position, this role will allow for future opportunity growth across our organization which could be in senior design positions, marketing, merchandising, web, and other roles.

This role is a full time, Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm hybrid (both in-office and remote), salaried position based in the Fairfield, OH area – meaning this role would have the opportunity to work alongside our Creative Team at our Mason, OH design studio some days (1-2 days/wk) and even at home other days (1-2 days/wk) when not in studio at the Fairfield, OH location (2-3 days/wk).

Position Responsibilities

• Shoot quality studio product photography

• Style/position product and apparel to shoot according to client standard

• Exhibit photo editing skills (to client standard)

• Manage and respond to ticket-based design requests

• Tracking time on projects/clients

Requirements

• 2 or 4 year degree in photography or graphic design

• Fluent in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

• Exhibit general graphic design knowledge and abilities

• Thrives without micro-management

• High culture buy-in

• Results focused, detail oriented and deadline driven
