Accountant

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented accountant to keep our financial information in order and up to date. You’ll be in charge of bookkeeping, producing financial reports, and recording accurate information in QuickBooks.

$75,000 - $120,000 DOE

• Perform bookkeeping duties: Maintain data on financial statements
• Ensure all books reconcile with bank statements and prepare financial statements
• Properly record financial transactions
• Verify accuracy within day books and all ledgers
• Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner

• Review accounts receivable aging reports and assist with direct reports for collections
• Supervise the payment process to vendors and subcontractors
• Monitor daily cash balances to ensure requirements are met

• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
• Exceptional knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• Must possess exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

• 5 years of experience (construction preferred), Licensed CPA preferred
