Description:

The Director of Cybersecurity is experienced in Business Development (BD) and Proposal solutions development. This individual will play a crucial role in driving the success of our DoD and Federal customer accounts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in solutions, with a proven track record of success in designing and delivering high-quality solutions for government proposals..

Requirements:


  1. Proposal Development: Lead the development of technical solutions for government proposals, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and objectives. Lead the development of concepts of operations, requirements definitions, analysis and engineering, system architecture, system analysis and design, interfaces, and data architectures.
  2. Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end solutions incorporating network engineering and cybersecurity principles, leveraging industry best practices and innovative technologies to address client needs effectively. Architect and recommend innovative solutions embodying a clear technical vision to ensure customer mission success. Ensure integration of security and compliance throughout the solution development lifecycle. Create compelling artifacts to present solution elements cohesively throughout the capture process, including architectural models, process diagrams, and staffing plans.
  3. Requirements Analysis: Thoroughly analyze client requirements and constraints to inform solution design and implementation strategies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and agency guidelines.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including government clients and internal teams, to gather requirements, present solutions, and address feedback throughout the proposal development process.
  5. Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on network engineering, cybersecurity, and related technologies, providing guidance and recommendations to support informed decision-making and solution delivery.
  6. Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and project management, to develop integrated solutions that meet client needs and business objectives. Support technical reviews and readiness assessments of solutions in both formal and informal settings.
  7. Documentation and Presentations: Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and presentations, to communicate proposed solutions effectively to clients and internal stakeholders.
  8. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of solution designs and proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
  9. Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory developments related to network engineering, cybersecurity, and government contracting, integrating new knowledge and insights into solution development and delivery.
  10. Compliance and Security: Ensure proposed solutions comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and best practices, addressing cybersecurity requirements and mitigating potential risks effectively.
  11. LAB - Responsible for cyber practice, establishing security and networking labs to create demonstrations of security products and services

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture, network engineering, and cybersecurity, focusing on government projects and proposals.
  3. Experience and deep understanding of NIST, RMF, and related framework
  4. Proven experience developing technical solutions for government proposals, with a strong understanding of the federal procurement process and compliance requirements.
  5. Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure, protocols, and technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, etc.
  6. In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies, including threat detection, incident response, encryption, and access control.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex requirements and design innovative solutions to meet client needs.
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  9. Experience working with DHS and other federal agencies, with a demonstrated ability to navigate agency processes and build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  10. Proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget, with a focus on customer satisfaction and project success.
  11. Security Certifications are desirable
