• Position: Business Development Intern
• Duration: 3 month Educational Internship - Paid Hire
• Location: Remote-Flex (Must Live in Los Angeles), 3x week in office
• Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Role Overview

As a Business Development Intern at LA Pet Apparel, you will be part of our SPRING 2024 Early Careers Program. You will have the opportunity to identify and outline partnership opportunities with local businesses and influencers that align with our brand’s values. This role will provide you with hands-on experience in business development, partnership building, and negotiation.

Projects

• Develop a strategy for identifying and approaching potential partners.
• Create a proposal template for partnership opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Identify potential partnership opportunities with local businesses and influencers.
• Draft proposals outlining potential partnership terms and benefits.
• Coordinate meetings and communications with potential partners.
• Assist in negotiating partnership terms and agreements.

About You

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• MUST be an undergraduate college student located in Los Angeles.

Bonus

• Previous experience in business development or partnership building.
• Familiarity with the fashion or pet industry.
• Experience with negotiation and contract drafting.
