Job Summary
Power Product Technologies is the most dominant hose supplier in Colorado. Due to our reputation and heightened popularity, we are looking for an individual to fill the position to support our Inside Sales Department, Storefront Counter sales and Customer Service role. If you like a fast-paced environment and enjoy talking with customers resolving their problems with innovative and standard solutions while making money doing it, then this is your kind of career!

Responsible to be knowledgeable and educated in our company products and service. Provide professional, accurate, and excellent customer service. Speak clearly, politely, and respectfully to all customers. Promptly answer customer calls and respond timely to all emails and inquiries.

Responsibilities
  • Sell company products and services to existing customers by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries, providing technical and application information, soliciting customer orders, and suggesting additional products in a fast multi-tasking environment.
  • Maintains responsibility for orders from quote to invoice.
  • Select and specify a variety of products utilizing a variety of vendors.
  • Process customers orders and send requested order acknowledgments.
  • Review customer purchase orders for special conditions/documentation.
  • Check stock levels, print internal workorders and collaborate with production to adhere to customers due date.
  • Verify material availability and ship date with suppliers.
  • Increase order size by suggesting related items, explaining features, and checking customers buying histories.
  • Process and expedite orders, customer returns, and returns to vendors.
  • Works closely with an outside salesman in soliciting business, executing order transactions, and maintaining superior customer service levels.
  • Communicates effectively and participates positively as a member of the inside sales team.
  • Review open customer order reports and take action.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3+ years experience in the Customer Service
  • Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with all internal operations enhancing the flow of processes.
  • Experience with Microsoft
  • Familiarity with pricing schemes, margins, COG fluctuation.
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner and listen attentively to others, and understands the material.
  • Strong verbal, written, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with customers, co-workers, supervisors, management, and various personnel.
  • Attentive to detail and ensure accuracy in customer orders.
