Job Description
We are seeking an Experienced School Age Teacher Full-Time And Part-Time to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct School-Aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Create a fun and safe learning environment
- Develop and execute lessons planned for the day
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
- Maintain the health and safety of all students
- Implement and organize field trips
- Create teams for sports, role model and engage
- Attend and participate during field trips. Must be willing to get into the water on swim trips.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
- Passionate about working with children
- Ability to build rapport with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A minimum of five years managing a school age classroom
- Experience with sports and team building
