Automotive Technician Automotive Mechanic

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose and Repair: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments using advanced tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and technical issues in BMW and other European vehicles. Perform repairs and maintenance services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.

2. Performance Enhancements: Utilize your expertise to enhance the performance and optimize the powertrain of BMW and other European makes and models. This may include modifications to the engine, suspension, exhaust system, and other performance-related components.

3. Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and inspections, to ensure the longevity and reliability of our client vehicles.

4. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks on all repaired and modified vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of excellence. Verify that all systems, components, and safety features are functioning correctly before returning the vehicle to the customer.

5. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner, ensuring that all necessary information is documented for future reference.

6. Training and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in BMW technology, repair techniques, and industry trends. Participate in ongoing training programs to expand your knowledge and skills, promoting professional growth.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as an automotive mechanic, with a strong focus on European vehicles and specialized knowledge in BMW repairs and performance enhancements.

2. Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of BMW vehicle systems, components, and diagnostic tools. Proficiency in performing repairs, maintenance, and performance modifications for BMW's and other European makes and models.

3. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently.

4. Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring precision and accuracy in all repairs, maintenance tasks, and performance enhancements.

5. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment, assisting colleagues when needed and sharing knowledge and expertise.
