Job Description

Sanborn Chevrolet is looking for a qualified person who loves working around cars. Someone who is looking for a future in the automotive industry. A person who is a good team player and willing to work their way up in the automotive field. Job Duties

Use GM eDOC-CCA to print out GM daily packing slips via GM Global connect.

Enter arrival of all GM freight in R&R window 2062 and update all backordered items, separate all parts into their appropriate departments: Retail Counter, Service & Bodyshop.

Enter in GM global unattended packing slip NS Shortages, Overages and Damaged parts that are from the daily freight order.

Close the above Claims as parts arrive late in GM Global connect.

Use GM EPIC in GM Global to identify Control Nu., Order Nu. and assigned customer name when not recorded on inbound freight documents.

Use GM Parts Workbench to receive SPACS Case orders and retrieve parts info for shipping dimensions.

Unloading of GM daily freight from the body shop shipping area to the parts S&R area.

Putting away daily inventory and keeping items in sequence on the shelves.

Assist with pulling inventory for Quick lube during the week prior to Saturday business so that they may be fully stocked for the weekend.

Process Fed ex and UPS shipments from GM when they arrive daily.

Process all inbound LPO’s and distribute all WMAC accessory orders.

Ability to Lift 75 lbs.

Current Driver's License and Clean Driving Record

Good Computer Skills

Ability to remember detail.

Multitask Oriented

Forklift driving as needed for freight processing.

Team Player

Assist with driving and delivering orders of GM freight on days when the Driver is off that day. .

Use GM Global connect Warranty Management to check on Core status on RO’s paid, requested or denied before any Warranty Core is shipped back for return processing. Pull GM Warranty parts requested for inspection by GM, prepare warranty parts and invoice copies for return shipment. Schedule warranty returns through Central Transportation for pickup. Ability to identify the difference between Wet, Dry, Light or Heavy cores for processing.

Contact GM Warehouse for additional totes and cages need for Monthly Returns.

Use GM Global connect PC302 & Tracking to submit and print all documents that are needed to return Monthly Material returns, Core Returns and Supersession returns.

Use the New GM Global Core Return web portal to track the status of core returns.

Inventory maintenance: Pull aged parts, post out quantities and delete bin locations for Monthly or RIM returns. Assign all New stock locations. Make all new Bin labels. Assign Bin locations to SOP parts.

Job functions may require you to get dirty from time to time as needed to process freight.

Other Parts Department assignments as needed that may not be called out from the list above.

The Parts Freight Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.00 and $20.00.
