Job Description

Smiley Lifting Solutions, a prominent North American Importer, Distributor, and Manufacturer specializing in hydraulic SPYDERCRANE mini crawler cranes, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of a hands-on Mini Crane Technical Trainer at our Phoenix, AZ location.

We are open to providing comprehensive training to the right candidate, encompassing both our equipment and curriculum. Once adept with our equipment, trainers will embark on nationwide travel to customer sites, delivering impactful training sessions and ensuring personnel are proficient in the safe operation of our mini cranes. While overnight travel is a requirement, trainers typically enjoy weekends at home.

Primary Responsibilities:

Educate customers and staff on equipment functionality and operation
Conduct operator qualification assessments for equipment
Assist in resolving basic equipment troubleshooting issues

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

Background in Crane or Equipment Training
Familiarity with Mini Cranes, cranes, or rental equipment
Basic mechanical knowledge
Individuals seeking a career change with an educational background
NCCER / NCCCO Trainer or relevant experience
Teaching experience or background in the education system (particularly in math or physics)
