Bore Rig Operator/Locator/Directional Drill Operator

As a Bore Rig Operator/Locator/Directional Drill Operator, you will perform the essential work of installing and maintaining the telecommunication lines that keep our communities connected.
Requirements:
· The upcoming projects will be based out of the SF Bay Area and hotel and per diem is offered for travelers. You will be able to go home on the weekends and work schedule is Monday - Friday
· Class A CDL Driver’s License preferred but NOT required
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the construction, maintenance, and removal of underground construction.
· Will operate heavy equipment and tools associated with construction activities.
· Must maintain and operate equipment per safety guidelines.
· Operate the drill rig and assist the Foreman with essential tasks in order to complete the job
order.
· Dig holes and locate existing utilities.
· Prepare cable routes and feed cable.
· Secure the job site, place signs where directed, and complete various other tasks as assigned by
the Operator and Foreman.
· Knowledge of utility depth, placement, and bore profiling.
· Preferred experience with operating other heavy construction equipment including backhoes,
excavators, and vacuum trailers are preferred.
