Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 1 (Environmental Services):

· Collect soil, surface water, groundwater, soil vapor, and indoor air samples

· Routine operation and maintenance of remediation systems

· Use and maintain field monitoring equipment

· Conduct site inspections at active construction and industrial sites for stormwater and environmental purposes.

· Gather and manage data electronic

· Draft template reports

· Actively develop your own professional growth

What we're looking for:

· BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

· 0-3 years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection

· Ability to travel for up to one week at a time

· Ability to work 8-hour days as needed

· Ability to be on feet for 8-hour a day with breaks

· Ability to lift 50 pounds

· Strong technical writing and communication skills

· Ability to travel for work up to one week at a time

· Ability to work outside year-round

· The ability to multi-task and manage your own schedule

· Ability to travel to remote project sites

· Valid driver's license, good driving history, and access to reliable transportation are required

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

· Experience with data management and report preparation preferred

· Safety minded

· Experience with safety programs and safe work practices.

· Ability to travel to remote project sites.
