Job Description
PAX Service, Porters Service, Luggage Handling.

List of Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve performance standards
  • Uses proper body mechanics while performing duties
  • Completing the responsibilities and duties outlined in the job description
  • Working efficiently to avoid loss of time and resources
  • Promoting a positive work ethic and environment
  • Completing special request from management or client
  • Remain alert and aware of the surroundings. Demonstrates ability to work with others and interact appropriately.

List of General Responsibilities:
  • Duties can and will fluctuate pending airport /terminal location and client
  • Assist agents/customers with their luggage at the ticket counter
  • Assist agent with oversized luggage from conveyor belt
  • Place luggage’s on the conveyor belts to assist ticketing agents in preparation for screening of luggage
  • Handles oversized luggage’s (over 50lbs)
  • Possess empathetic abilities in dealing with passengers and their needs
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Completing shift using proper Protocols & Safety Procedures
  • Escorting Vendors, Students or Contractors
  • Assisting Upper Management or Client
  • Courier/ Distribution of items varied from Catered food, supplies, merchandise & furniture
  • Maintain presences in United Airlines Equipment Room
  • Maintain Radio Communication with United Airlines for any request such as; “Quickpak”
  • Refilling United Airlines Amenity Carts with snacks and beverages
Schedule 1:   3-day schedule 
 Friday, Saturday 5:00pm-1:30am
Sunday, Monday: 1:00pm-9,30pm

Schedule 2 :   3-day schedule 
Friday -Saturday 3.30am-12:00pm
Sunday, Monday 12:00pm-8.30pm
Tuesday: 1:00pm-9.30pm

Hourly wage: 19:00/hr 

Minor Responsibilities:
  • Observes and reports any unsafe or hazardous conditions immediately to their supervisor or proper authority.
  • May be requested to perform other duties as assigned based on supervisor/ manager’s needs or airline activity.
  • Report any required maintenance or needed repairs to Supervisor.
  • Relates information regarding events or situations that may affect operations to supervisor.

Working Conditions:
  • May be exposed to high levels of noise or variations in weather and temperature.
  • Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods of times.
  • Must be able to lift, squat, stoop, push, stand and bend throughout the course of a shift.
  • Must possess a professional image, attitude.
  • Must be flexible to work scheduled and non-scheduled hours as required.
  • Must be able to bend and lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
