CNA Caregiver

JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dedicated, professional, reliable, energetic, skilled, experienced, CNA/Nursing Assistant/Caregiver to care for a patient in a non-smoking work environment. The ideal candidate will assist the patient with daily living activities, provide basic care, assist with stretches/exercises for range of motion and support the family in delivering excellent patient care.

Duties:

- Assist patients with personal hygiene, feeding, ambulation and range of motion stretches/exercises
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment

- Quick learner, and can process independently
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality
- Accompany patient to and from appointments, physical and occupational therapy as an escort
- Maintain basic support in emergency situations, if necessary
- Collaborate with family to deliver high-quality patient service, if necessary

Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospital, private care, or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of spinal cord injury is preferred
- Familiarity with massage therapy and physical therapy is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a private environment
