Job Description
Hiring for a Probate Paralegal to join a prestigious and growing Trust and Estates firm in Fort Lauderdale. This is a full-time, in-office position with a competitive comp package, room for growth, and an excellent team!
Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years of probate, estate, and asset experience
- Must be Paralegal certified!
- Prepare Probate Pleadings, along with other legal documents
- Marshal inventory and distribution of assets
- Knowledge of IRS Forms such as gift tax (709) and estate tax (706) returns
- Recording documents and deeds with courts, E-Filing
- Proofread all documents and correspondence for accuracy
- Billing - prepare invoices, create cover letters, and send out to clients
- Enter time and print reports as requested
- Maintaining client’s files, including preparing documents for signings
- Communicate daily with clients in a professional manner
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Provide support to Attorneys
