As a TAM at OXE Marine, you will work with the Aftermarket department, sometimes with the Engineering department, and sometimes assist the Sales team. This makes for a varying and fulfilling role where not one day is like the other.

Please note! This role is both a practical role where you are expected to visit customers out in the field, supporting them with installation and/or other technical tasks, and administrative. As we have customers all over the country, you will be expected to travel.

General tasks:

  • Monitor and implement routines and processes for product maintenance.
  • Supervise warranty processes and document quality issues both internally and externally.
  • Make qualified recommendations for product development.
  • Monitor and follow up on the development and competence of distributors, dealers and others within our network.
  • Support dealers in technical matters and offer guidance.

Other tasks:

  • Represent the company professionally in any interaction, both internally and externally.
  • Communicate information between the internal departments at OXE Marine.
  • Assist in evaluation of dealers, providing them with a business plan to upgrade their OXE products, engine service and maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience within the marine service industry / working with marine propulsion systems.
  • Boat license
  • Preferably advanced mechanical/electrical background
  • Highly meritorious if you are a technical engineer (or of similar education).
  • Comprehensive understanding of marine ship systems and electrical systems.
  • Service-minded and customer-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently.

International travel occurs. The employee must obtain a valid passport and other documentation that may be required for international travel. We are continuously interviewing for this position, so if we've piqued your interest don't hesitate to send in your resumé and cover letter.

What is it like to work for OXE Marine?

Steve Jobs said it well; We do not hire people to tell them what to do, we hire people to tell us what to do.

With that said, we hire for ambition, train for skill and have deep respect for the fact that our product is still considered new to the market. Our technology differs from a traditional outboard, and we promise to educate you on just how it differs, and where it does not. You will receive thorough training in our product and in how we operate.

We are looking for great team players, someone with ambition to thrive, grow and develop and someone that enjoys making other people successful while learning and developing at the same time. You'll enjoy working at OXE if you want to be part of a collective movement that challenges the status quo and have the ambition to go further with your colleagues than anyone else has ever done. We will do what we can to challenge you and your comfort zone. We will support your growth and development, so that you can in turn play a part in the development and expansion of OXE Marine; in truth, you will not come to a set table, but will be part of designing and setting the tables.

I love working as a TAM for OXE Marine, and have in my three years at OXE developed past what I ever thought possible. My days are very varied; I get to travel the world and meet end customers, seeing with my own eyes how our diesel outboards change our customers lives, solve sometimes complex technical problems, but I also conduct training sessions with new distributors and dealers, spreading knowledge and tips on our OXE diesel outboards, says Jesper Pettersson, Master Technical Area Manager at OXE.

About OXE Marine

OXE Marine is the company behind the only diesel outboard solution for highly demanding users. We were founded in 2012 with the ambition to create the world's first high-performance diesel outboard developed primarily for commercial use. We are driven by a passion to develop, improve, and to keep changing the future of the marine market. We finalized our first diesel outboard, the OXE Diesel, in the spring of 2014. Our diesel outboards are today available through a global distributor network, but we're not stopping there - we want to change the marine world and make it prosperous for people and planet. In 2022, OXE Marine AB acquired our American distributors Diesel Outboards, who are now part of the OXE Marine Group under OXE Marine Inc.
