CNC Machinist

Texwrap is seeking a CNC Machinist on second shift to fabricate quality parts per customer specifications. As a part of the team that makes components for our own machines, we tend to be more about rapid manufacturing rather than high number production. The second shift is four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday from 2:30pm-1:00am.

Are you excited about this work?

• Setup machine with proper tooling
• Run/adjust programs as necessary to produce quality parts
• Inspect and verify conformance of parts at the beginning of an operation and the end of machining process to specifications/tolerances using a variety of precision measuring and gaging instruments
• Read and interpret blueprints including material gauge and tolerances
• Review and follow any specific instruction on the job order
• Debur parts after machining operation to meet required specifications and tolerances
• Record time on jobs in the MRP system
• Maintain a clean work area
• Follow all safety policies
• Work to achieve routing times
• Perform general maintenance of machines

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a technical degree preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience setting up and running CNC machines
• Attention to detail
• Good attendance
• Ability to read and interpret detailed prints
• Ability to read G code
• Ability to use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• May require lifting of parts and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.
