Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Clinical and School Based Mental Health Therapist Pathways promotes the mental, emotional, and physical well-being of the individual through the exploration of pathways to healthy living. We currently have three full time Mental Health Therapist positions available in clinic and school based settings with the availability of hybrid, remote and in person work available. The two clinical positions are in our Waldorf and Hollywood Clinic Locations. The selected candidates will provide individual, group, family, and couples therapy using evidence-based treatment approaches, will conduct initial screening assessments, and will participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning. Background in trauma work and in work with marginalized populations is preferred. The third position is at Patuxent High School in Calvert County and may work at our Calvert Office in Prince Frederick and occasionally in our Hollywood Clinic. The therapist will provide individual, group, and family counseling and therapy in a school setting. They will also provide psychoeducation and behavioral modification techniques to teachers during in-service days. The therapist will plan and co-facilitate quarterly assemblies addressing student mental health needs such as bullying, depression, anxiety, and suicide awareness. Additionally, they will conduct diagnostic assessments and participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning. During the summer months, we will provide telehealth sessions that will be a blend of virtual and in-person sessions based on the client's requirements. The therapist will also have the option to work from home during all school holidays. A flexible summer leave option might be available. Applicants must meet legal eligibility requirements for 3rd party payers, including Medicare. Minimum requirements include: Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
