Software Developer (UI Web App)

Contiem is seeking a Software/UI Web App Developer with development experience to support and manage our content management system. This includes maintaining, extending, and tuning the database and supporting and extending our product requirements for publishing and content creation workflows.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for updating and developing a custom WPF editorial application.
• Responsible for creating a WPF library containing multiple custom-designed WPF controls.
• Develop intuitive user interface using the Windows 10, .NET/C#, WPF framework for desktop applications.
• Develop custom UI components for use in applying semantic markup of document text.
• Author and edit design documentation, SOPs, and configuration documentation.

Work Hours & Location:

Full-time, exempt position with regular hours (EST) of operations between Monday to Friday.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications:

• US citizenship
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience with developing WPF applications and WPF custom control libraries.
• Experience developing custom UI components used in text and XML markup.
• Demonstrated experience in developing quality, maintainable, and well-designed software.
• Experience with agile methodologies SDLC.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to help resolve a wide range of issues.
• Experience working with stakeholders and business analysts to gather business requirements to derive functional and non-functional requirements.
• Ability to work with teams of various sizes across the organization in different locations.
