Software Implementation Intern

Location: Boulder, CO   

LCG Advisors, a leading Tampa-based transaction advisory services firm, is looking for a Software Implementation Intern within our M&A IT Team to work closely with our existing clients, including law firms, banks, private equity groups, commercial finance companies, family offices, hedge funds, investments funds, and other institutional capital providers.  

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the development and maintenance of automation scripts and tools under the guidance of the Software Automation Project Manager. 
• Participate in the design and implementation of new software features, focusing on automation to improve efficiency across company projects. 
• Collaborate with the development team to identify, debug, and resolve technical problems in existing automation frameworks. 
• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, including requirement specifications, design documents, and user manuals. 
• Engage in testing processes to ensure the functionality and efficiency of automation scripts and tools. 
• Attend and actively participate in team meetings and project planning sessions. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, required. 
• Certification of completion of Level I, Level II, and Level III from Robocorp Automation training courses and certifications, preferred.  
• Demonstrable knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. 
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, especially Agile and Scrum. 
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems like Git. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills. 
• Proactive learner with a keen interest in software development and automation technologies. 
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. 

Pay Range: 

• $15 - $18/hour
