Logistics Operations Specialist

SEKO Logistics, a global third-party logistics company, is seeking a Domestic Operations Specialist. The Domestic Operations Specialist, daily activities include customer service functions, managing freight orders and ensuring shipment orders are fulfilled.

Logistician Job Summary

We are looking for a Logistician to join our team and manage our operations and inventory. This position is responsible for the efficient transport and storage of goods, overseeing the entire supply chain, and ensuring that goods are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Logistician is an integral part of our team and has a strong focus on customer service satisfaction.

Logistician Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze reports related to logistics and supply chain activities
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and customers
• Manage the daily shipments board by prioritizing, scheduling and routing shipments locally and throughout the United States.
• Track and trace shipments to ensure timely pickup and delivery.
• Interact with customers to collect shipment data and provide shipment updates.
• Monitor SEKO’s transportation management system to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide and follow up pricing quotes to internal and external customers
• Coordinate and work with SEKO transportation vendors

Logistician Requirements and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Logistician or similar position a plus!
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards a plus!
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Math comprehension of discounts and percentages
• Organized and planful
• Effective communication with customers and team members
• 1-2 years logistic experience a plus! Not necessary we can train!
• Clear record to pass Transportation Security Administration requirements.
• In office hours 10:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday
