Job Title: Mobile Health Services Coordinator

Department: Operations

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Full-time

Position Summary: Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer the Mobile Health Services Coordinator will utilize their skills in event planning and management to ensure Community-Based Health Fairs and Clinics are effectively staffed and resourced to adequately engage and serve the target populations. Work as a medical assistant supporting community-based health fairs and clinics.

  • Regularly supports compliance and accreditation efforts as assigned including, but not limited to OSHA, Joint Commission and HIPAA and Behavioral Healthcare Network.

  • The Mobile Health Services Coordinator is responsible for managing the operations of the Wesley Community-Based Health Services and Events. They will be responsible for:
  • Organizing and planning community and school-based outreach and education events
  • Organizing and planning community and school-based health fairs and events
  • Coordinate mobile unit schedule for days and sites
  • Assist in coordinating staff schedule for community-based events
  • Assist with maintaining supplies and equipment for mobile unit
  • Develop and implement effective record-keeping procedures.
  • Performing technical tasks such as creating business requirements documents, user training manuals and guides, and requirements traceability matrices.
  • Medical Assistant – Act as a Medical Assistant during Mobile Health Events.
  • Demonstrates competency in rooming patients, performing vital signs and measurements (completes growth chart as appropriate), obtains medical history and records information in EMR.
  • Competent to perform vision and hearing checks and record them in the patient chart.
  • Consistently demonstrates good use of time and resources.
  • Consistently interacts with clients and staff in a manner that reflects favorably on the organization and promotes teamwork.

Project Management – Communicates changes and progress. Completes projects on time and within budget. Coordinates projects. Develops Project plans. Manages project team activities.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience Certification as a Medical Assistant is required. Thorough knowledge of the Microsoft suite of applications. Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred. Project management experience preferred. Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.

Language Ability Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public. Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Mathematical Ability Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills MS Office Suite with an Emphasis on Excel, PowerBI, eClinical Works

Certificates and Licenses

  • CPR with basic life support card in good standing.
  • Fingerprint clearance check.

Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Driving – Must have a current and unencumbered Arizona Drivers License and be comfortable with driving
