Salt Plant Laborer

GMCO Corporation has an immediate opening for a full-time salt plant laborer. This position will be assisting in operating our salt facility based out of Grand Junction, CO. The salt laborer is responsible for receiving product deliveries and offloading product. They will also be responsible for grinding and mixing products to be shipped out. Other responsibilities will include facility maintenance as well as cleaning and upkeep of facility. Valid driver's license is required as well as pre-employment drug screening. GMCO offers competitive wages, over-time pay, year-round work, paid time off, benefit package, and retirement plan. Job is Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- Operate and maintain salt facility
- Monitor production process
- Operate salt grinding and mixing equipment
- Bagging of salt
- Assist in upkeep of yard and facility
- Assist in organizing stock and maintaining inventory
- Unload and load shipments
- Inspect equipment and facility for safety
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Previous Industrial setting experience preferred but not required
- Valid Driver's License
