Golf Course Groundskeeper

Texas Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated, high-energy Groundskeeper for a local golf course on the North side of San Antonio.

The groundskeeping crew is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the golf course and surrounding grounds, providing an enjoyable experience for guests.

Pay:

• $15/hour.

Shift:

• M-R 630 am-3p
• F 6am-12pm
• **12-20 HRS OF OVERTIME AVAILABLE WEEKLY**

Responsibilities:

• Safely operates equipment such as weed eaters, blowers, lawnmowers, and other landscaping tools used for various maintenance needs.
• Keeps hand-tools clean after each use and practices keeping a clean work space.
• Loads and unloads materials; must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Shovel material - sand, dirt, gravel, etc.
• Collects and empties litter cans.
• Fertilize, water, and tend to plants and turf.
• Cuts grass, weeds, and trims bushes.
• Rakes leaves and bunkers.
• Assist with special projects as designated by supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, lift, and reach for 8-10 hours consecutively.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work in varied outside weather conditions.
• 6 months+ of landscaping/greenkeeping experience preferred.
