Licensed Vocational Nurse

Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for qualified, patient-care-focusedLicensed Vocational Nurseto work in the Galveston, TX area for a Charter School

The LVN is responsible for providing patient support and communication and facilitating an exceptional patient experience.

Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to theProgram Manager, Youth, and Family Serviceswith oversight from the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), the program LVN performs responsible healthcare administrative work within Youth and Family Services' comprehensive outpatient programs responsible for working with youth with a diagnosis of a mental illness with evidence of serious emotional, behavioral, or mental disturbance and/or serious functional impairment. Duties include coordination of medication clinics & support to prescribing providers, and patient and family education to include medication-related rehabilitative services that promote youth recovery.

Job Requirements:

• A licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license state of Texas required

• 6 months experience.

• High School Diploma

Job Details:

• Full-time (as soon as possible) – Monday through Friday (1 hour lunch break)
• Opportunity for temp to a permanent position

• Starting at: $28.00/hr (Based on experience) + Benefits
