VAD is currently seeking a Territory Manager at our Charlotte, NC Branch.


General Summary

The role of Territory Manager is responsible for conducting a wide range of sales activities in support of the branch and corporate business plans. This position is focused on building relationships with existing and potential customers and maximizing market value.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and implement annual territory sales plans and strategies to protect, maintain, and grow business
  • Serve as a resource to customers with understanding contracts, proposals, product information and availability, recommend product lines, packaging, and service changes
  • Provide knowledge and consultation to potential and existing customers to develop integrated HVAC solutions
  • Act as the customer's advisor from start to finish, bridging the gap between technical jargon and client understanding
  • Maintain customer relationships through customer visits, phone calls, and consistent follow up
  • Act as a liaison between inside branch personnel and customers to ensure seamless delivery of expectations and services
  • Provide residential and commercial sales support through order processing, order entry, purchase order generation, job quotes, and job tracking
  • Utilize CRM as a strategic tool for prospecting, analysis, sales, and management of proposals and projects
  • Stay updated on market, trends, and developments in the industry
  • Other duties as assigned



Qualifications:

  • Excellent attitude and commitment to superior customer service
  • Excellent skills in planning, organization, and time management
  • Strong sales abilities and persuasiveness to drive revenue growth
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proactive initiative and resourcefulness to solve problems and seize opportunities
  • Previous similar working experience, specifically in HVAC field with technical knowledge a plus
