Dog walker / Daycare helper

Atlas Doghouse is currently seeking an animal loving, motivated and punctual driver and dog walker. Atlas Doghouse is an established and well-loved company in the DC area. 

Driver and dog walker responsibilities:

• Work weekdays (weekend work available too)  
• Enter the homes of clients to pick up their dogs and take them to daycare or take their dogs home after a day at daycare. 
• Walk dogs at the daycare during the day for a 30 minute walk (this varies day to day depending on clients requests) 
• Helps the daily walkers if they are running behind, have a flat tire etc and need a walk covered
• Help get keys to walkers 
• Communicate with clients and with management during visits.
• Assist at the daycare when needed
• Walk pets to their grooming appointments
• Assist the daycare manager with pets being picked up from daycare in the evening when it's very busy

Driver and dog walker  requirements and qualifications:

• Must have your own, reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Able to follow detailed instructions
• Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable
• Must be timely and punctual 
• Must be able to self-manage 
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be compassionate about animals
• Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals
• Must be able to pass criminal background check
• Must have a smartphone 
• Must have a valid drivers license 
• Hours required -  Monday - Friday 8.30am - 6pm with an hour for lunch
