Dental Assistant

Vietnamese is mandatory.

We are looking for a dental assistant with great communication skill and personality to be a member of a great team.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
• General patient care including helping front desks for appointment and answering phones
• Translate language for non english speakers
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and material needed
• Taking records, impressions, or x-rays
• Using computers to update electronic patient records (which can be taught)
• Assisting with lab tasks as needed
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations
• Prophy and fluoride varnish application
• Well-organized, punctual, and reliable
• Energetic with a positive attitude

Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• The ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail
• High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week

Schedule:

• Mon&Tues(9-6pm), Wed(9-4pm) Friday(8-5pm)
• No nights
• No weekends

Work Location: In person
