Compensation

• Starting wage $26.00-$29.00/hr. depending on experience

Work Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Thursday
• 8:00am - 6:00pm

Director of Admissions

• Responsible for coordinating and directing the admissions from local hospitals, physician's offices, and the community.
• Completes inquiry process to ensure understanding of patient needs/requirements.
• Provides tours of the facility which are scheduled and unscheduled.
• Works closely with Columbine Health Systems Hospital Liaisons for the smooth transition of patients from local hospitals
• Maintains current bed availability status at all times.
• Communicates needs of new admissions to all departments to ensure a smooth transition.
• Builds and maintains relationships with local doctor offices, hospitals, assisted and independent living facilities, home care agencies, and other nursing homes.
• Maintains a working knowledge of Insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, Federal and State regulations and reimbursement.
• Represents facility at community events.
• Manages and supervises admissions staff.
• And other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of a BS or BA degree in related field
• At least one-year previous healthcare experience working in a nursing home, hospital, or other health care facility preferred.
