About the Position
Responsible for testing all production test activities, testing and production data collection, fixture management, and ensuring that fixtures that are used for testing are correct and functioning properly.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Strong data analysis ability to review and verify correctness of the data• Insure all test equipment has up to date calibration.
• Trouble shoot failures and relay possible solutions to the Production Supervisor, Production Lead, or Engineering
• Test for the following (but not limited to): Voltech, D.C. Resistance, Inductance, Insulation resistance measurement
• Maintain golden samples for current and new product. Repair test fixtures for current product.
• Solid computer skills especially in the use of Microsoft Excel and an understand and access to SAP documentation.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, assist engineering in the development of test programs for manufacturing.
Qualifications
Education: Two-year technical degree in electrical engineering, technology or related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of field experience required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Basic understanding of analog circuits, test procedures and test processes. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Microsoft Excel. Strong use of analog/digital test equipment such as network analyzers and oscilloscopes, soldering and construction of test circuits.
