Accounting/Finance Specialist

Come join a fast growing and well-established steel distribution and processing firm! Due to recent significant growth, we are currently seeking an Accounting/Finance Specialist to join our team. This position will be an instrumental part of the department directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.

Responsibilities include the sub-management of the following key Accounting/Finance functions:

• Customer Credit Management
• Cash Flow Management
• Financial Statement and Tax Return Preparation and Analysis
• Inventory Analysis
• Customer Sector Analysis
• Invoice and Billing Analysis
• Conduct cost analysis on financial programs and operations
• Determine financial status and analyze forecast results
• Resolve accounting errors on a timely basis with documentation
• Prepare profit and loss models

Qualifications:

• Experience in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields
• Advanced spreadsheet skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of the steel industry is a plus but not required
