Trailer / Truck Mechanic

4W Services is looking to expand to our company by adding some additional techs to our second shift. We are looking for new techs to work our second shift (four ten schedule).

We service a revolving fleet of about 500 units for a major delivery company, and have done so for the last thirteen years. Our company started servicing them at their Whitehall location, and now we are up to four garages (Whitehall, Twinsburg, Plain City, and Richfield) and five satellite locations (Cambridge, Groveport, Etna, Mansfield, and North Jackson).

We operate in a team environment and are looking for highly motivated, experienced and non experienced teammates. We are looking for second shift trailer and truck mechanics to perform inspections and repairs. You will be performing inspections and repairs on trailers, diesel yard trucks, dollies, straight trucks, step vans (Ford, Chevrolet, and Dodge), Semis of various makes, as well as a variety of company vehicles. The experience we are looking for would be in trailer body repair including, but not limited to, panels, radiuses, post, side rails, and roofing. Trailer door repair including panels, rollers, hinges, cables, operators, and tracks. Welding various metals such as steel, stainless steel, and Aluminum. Along with basic repairs such as brakes, lights, tires, air systems, and electrical issues. If you do not have experience but are willing to be trained please feel free to apply. Our company supplies job specific tools (1inch impact, welders, jacks, jack stands, etc) but the techs are still required to supply their own common tools (screw drivers, sockets, ratchets, hammers, etc). Management experience is always a plus! Pay is based on your experience. We have a two bay drive through garage where most of our work is done.
