Summary

The Tax Staff Accountant will handle accounting duties of American Family Care, LLC and subsidiary companies. The position is responsible for, but not limited to, maintaining the day-to-day tax functions, reconciliations, filing, and other ad hoc accounting duties as required.

The essential job duties shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Review employment, unemployment and other payroll tax filings and payments for accuracy.
Sales and use tax filings.
Assist in property tax preparation and payment process.
Perform other related duties as may be requested by upper management.
Ensure receipt and payment of real estate bills

Qualifications:
Previous experience with various tax filings
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
Highly organized, self-sufficient and detail oriented
Able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interface well with teammates
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
