Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit installation area
- Remove old flooring and prepare subfloor for installation
- Install flooring materials according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Inspect flooring materials for defects and damage
- Ensure work area is clean and safe at all times
- Communicate with project managers and clients to coordinate installations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Flooring Installer
- Proficiency in installing various types of flooring materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and flooring plans
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in flooring installation
- Experience with commercial flooring installations
- Knowledge of flooring industry trends and best practices
