Job Description

Aegis has partnered with a CNC Machine Manufacturer in Indianapolis, IN. They are looking to add a CNC Programmer to their team.

 Schedule - M-F 8A-5P

Compensation - Salary up to $72K, Bonus paid in December ($3-5K), Full benefits. 

Travel - up to 30% - Company card provided for all gas, meals, hotels, flights, etc. 

The CNC programmer will provide technical support to sales, marketing and service for applications dealing with complex knowledge of company product functionality, performance and operating system.  

Position responsibilities: 

  • Create a cutting time estimate based on prints and/or solid models of finished parts
  • Create cutting demonstrations for 3- and 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes
  • Conduct milling and lathe programming and operator training classes for Milltronics controls
  • Create training videos and information that help promote new software and features
  • Customer support for troubleshooting applications problems and programming

Position requirements:

  • Two or Four year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven machine tool applications experience in 3-axis mills 
  • Experience with CAD/CAM, work-holding concepts and cutting tool selection and technology
  • Experience with 5-axis mills and multi-axis lathes a plus
