Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to design and implement technology solutions that support the overall cybersecurity program. The successful candidate will play a key role in building, delivering, maintaining, and updating security technology platforms and systems for the global information technology space. Responsibilities

• Design and implement technology solutions that support our overall cybersecurity program.
• Build, deliver, maintain, and update security technology platforms and systems for our global information technology space.
• Address business and technical requirements, leveraging standard principles and patterns.
• Implement and manage security platforms, including but not limited to Endpoint Detection & Response platforms, forensics tools, privileged access management systems, multifactor token/certificate management systems, remote access systems, and identity security solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity solutions into business operations and technical environments.
• Monitor and analyze security systems to detect and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, information cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in information security, with a focus on cybersecurity operations.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and frameworks.
• Experience designing, implementing, and managing security technology solutions in a complex IT environment.
• Proficiency in security platforms and systems, including Endpoint Detection & Response platforms, forensics tools, privileged access management systems, multifactor token/certificate management systems, remote access systems, and identity security solutions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred.
