Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Controls Installation Foreman to lead our team in Carmel, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HVAC Controls installation and a proven track record of successfully managing projects and teams. As the HVAC Controls Installation Foreman, you will oversee the installation, programming, and commissioning of HVAC control systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of HVAC controls installation projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

2. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of technicians and subcontractors to ensure efficient and high-quality workmanship throughout the installation process.

3. Installation and Programming: Perform hands-on installation and programming of HVAC control systems, including thermostats, sensors, actuators, and controllers, according to project specifications and industry standards.

4. Commissioning: Conduct thorough system testing and commissioning to ensure proper functionality, performance, and compliance with design requirements.

5. Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and discrepancies during the installation and commissioning phases, utilizing your expertise and problem-solving skills.

6. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and craftsmanship, adhering to company policies and industry regulations.

7. Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.

8. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including installation records, as-built drawings, programming files, and commissioning reports.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC controls installation, with a proven track record of leadership and project management.

2. Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting HVAC control system drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Experience with various brands of control systems (e.g., Siemens, Honeywell, Johnson Controls) is preferred.

3. Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of technicians to achieve project goals and deadlines.

4. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to quickly identify and resolve technical issues in a dynamic work environment.

5. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.

6. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

7. Licenses/Certifications: A valid driver's license and relevant certifications in HVAC Controls installation or related fields are preferred.
